IRC5870 Firmware/System Software Request

A client recently purchased a used IRC5870. The previous owners of this machine performed a low-level-format (writing 0s to all sectors) of the disk. I assume for security reasons, as the previous owner was a government entity. Because of the low-level-format the drive's partition tables and system software is gone and the expected startup error of E0602-002 is displayed.

I have the service manual for the IRC5870. I have the latest version of SST. I'm familiar with the IR series and methods of formatting and installing/updating the required firmware using the Download Mode (2+8).

However, I dont have the latest firmware for the IRC5870. Would anyone in this community be able to assist me? I dont mind compensating you for your efforts too.

I bet you will have to end up buying another hdd unless you can ghost an image from a good 5870 hdd.

Sorry to ask a stupid question which may be down to regional differences. Are you actually talking about the IR5870c? Does it use the turret system?

I'm in the UK and think the model numbers may be different.
