IR8500 machine Paper Drawer 1&2 paper level goes below half level, then paper jam (pickup delay 0101).If any body have a Solution please share it me.
Thanks
Hello,
Does your machine display "load paper" message during printing even when there is paper in the drawers?
Please, be more explicit and give more details.

Thanks for the reply.Yes it is showing 'load paper' while printing.
When closing the drawers, there is a white plastic part (on the drawer) that will push up another part (in the machine) to allow the pick-up unit (rollers and the paper lever sensors) to go down. In your case, the pick-up unit is not going down enough. Work in this direction to resolve your issue.

There is the steel to force the no.30 (lever) to push down the pickup assy when the cassette drawer is close. normally what i did is i bend a little bit downward of the steel so it force more lever to push down the pickup assy more harder
You will have to be a little bit more specific about the frequency of the jams. Are the jams constant or does it print but jam sometimes? It will not feed from a tray and ask for paper while its feeding but may ask for paper after you have cleared a jam. The problem does not necessarily have to be because the pick assembly rollers are not dropping low enough. It could be that the lifting mechanism is not lifting the plate that the paper sits on enough. Remove the draw and check the lifitng cable to the rear of the draw first and see if the mounts are bent upwards causing the tray to lift lift sufficiently. If it is constantly asking for paper check if there is paper jammed behind the cassette covering the lifting cam. Once you have checked that the draw is OK then move onto the P/U assembly. It could be the fixed metal arm mentioned above (hard to explain) or a sensor. Unfortunately, trays 3 + 4 are not the same so you cannot swap the units with C1 or 2 to isolate the prob.
Being really simple is often a good help so look at the rollers to see if they are worn and perhaps swap the set with a working tray.
Good luck
Jay
