Canon IR 2535i Inner Finsher B-1 Trouble with springs falling off

    Hello fellow techs,

I'm have some frustrations with the B-1 inner finisher on a IR2535i. It holds a little gray bar up just above the last feed rollers exiting the tray, and I've now put them back on about 3 times.. But they continue to fall off. Anyone else having trouble with these real tiny springs falling off? If so, have you found a solution for them yet?

It seems like not much effort went into securing these springs by Canon, so an alternate method would be nice. Thanks in advance for your help...

Silicone RTV gasket sealer. It will dry and hold a spring, and easy to crush apart if needing to remove it.

Thank you very much. Great suggestion...... I unfortunately didn't get it in time for this one. I instead took some of that epoxy clay and just covered them up. If I need to get back into them, I guess I'll be buying new pieces. But one things for sure, the springs aren't coming off now...

But I like your idea, and it makes total sense. will be buying some RTV gasket sealer tomorrow!

      Thanks!
