    Canon IR2380i colour settings

Hello everyone, hows it going? Hoping a little knowledge and karma will come back my way

I had to reset DCON to eliminate some 020 errors, thats all sorted everything put back as per a p print I did before.

    I saw a thread from earlier and my question is, for my own knowledge, as I am always learning;

In service mode, level 1 - adjust - colour there are no figures there, just zeros?

I checked on the front door, there were no figures inputted there either

Can anyone give me some guidance if I should be manually adjusting these figures?

For a 2380 even a full page photo is were I would expect it to be, not fantastic, as I was told on my Canon course they are for spot colour?

    Thanks everyone

what are u trying to accomplish
did u do your AUTO GRADATION for Printer & or Fiery if connected ?

    COPIER>ADJUST>COLOR

they should not be at "0" check your original P PRINT/ or do a trial & error adjust

ADJ-Y/M/C/K=Adjust the color balance of Y/M/C/K colors for users.
Change the default value of the color balance when the output density varies by machine. Setting a larger value increases density.
Setting a smaller value decreases density.
    Setting range: -8 to 8
[Factory setting value/Value after RAM clear: 0]

OFST-Y/M/C/K= Adjust the density and color balance of the bright part of Y/M/C/K colors.
Offset the color balance of the bright part when the document base is not normally read. Setting a larger value increases the color balance. Setting a smaller value decreases the color balance.
When the base is not normally eliminated and it looks like a fogging image, decrease the value until the fogging becomes invisible.
    Setting range: -32 to 32
[Factory setting value/Value after RAM clear: 0]

LD-OFS-Y/M/C/K= Adjust the color balance of low density area.
Be sure not to use this item in normal operation.
    Setting range: -8 to 8
[Factory setting value/Value after RAM clear: 0]

MD-OFS-/Y/M/C/K= Adjust the color balance of middle density area.
Be sure not to use this item in normal operation. (recommended setting value: -1)
    Setting range: -8 to 8
[Factory setting value/Value after RAM clear: 0]

HD-OFS-Y/M/C/K= Adjust the color balance of high density area.
Be sure not to use this item in normal operation. (recommended setting value: -2)
    Setting range: -8 to 8
[Factory setting value/Value after RAM clear: 0]

Thanks for the information, I will experiment tomorrow.

As far as I know there isnt an original p print, this was bought off ebay, dont I know....

Ref auto graduation, I always have been ding them through control panel / adjustment and maintance / full adjust

Have I been doing that wrong?

No fiery attached, just a standard IRC2380i

Thanks, hope you had a nice holiday
