[Misc] IR2870/IR3570 Not Printing PDF's

I was told that the machine is an IR3570 but in the remote UI it says IR2870

So my first query is that, is it normal for an IR3570 to display its model as IR2870 in the remote UI and printing properties ?

Now I have a .PDF file which is sized (1.7 MB) and contains scanned documents around 100 pages, and I wish to print those (100) pages. But my IR3570/IR2870 just keeps on saying "processing" until my wit ends.

The document never gets printed, this happens mostly with PDF's, so I tried printing with the remote UI.

This time instead of printing all the 100 pages I choose to print just one page out of 100. Then it print outs one blank page with black color.

I tried printing it from 3 different computers but the same problem persists.

Can someone please help me with these 2 problems ?

(Edit: The file gets printed flawlessly on Kyocera TaskAlfa 180gx)

Is it a PDF that the machine itself has generated or is it from something else? Keep in mind that the PDF format have evolved for the last years so it might be an issue with the PDF lib in the machine not being able to open it correctly or it simply runs out of memory. Have you tried another pdf document?
This is a PDF 1.3 document which is a pretty old standard, http://printmail.oregonstate.edu/sit...Poster_rev.pdf if this works its most likely one of the two reasons mentioned earlier.
If possible you could try updating the firmware on that machine which may help somewhat.

Okay so the first one:

Bridge_Poster_rev.pdf is actually PDF 1.5
and
rb2011L-IN.pdfis PDF 1.7

Both printed flawlessly. Is it like it has got problem with big sized files or something ?

(btw: the file i am trying to print is 1.7MB, PDF 1.4, produced by CVISION TECHNOLIGIES )

Press COUNTER button > CONFIG to assertain the Serial Number and also the Options included in the Machine, Perform a P-PRINT in Service Mode - ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS > 2+8 > ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS > FUNCTION MISCP and check the Model of the Unit printed on top of the Page - you may have a mix and match Box.
