ir C3480 with Finisher - Y1 error code E0713

Have "Function Limited", last error code E0713

There is power to the finisher controller PCB, LED101 blinking , Just below and to the right of the SW104 on the PCB

Any suggestions?

Other than changing the finisher controller PCB

Check on connection of the cable

pull gray molex cable out > take it apart and re-seat inside connectors

the limited function in user mode need to be turned OFF and the main power switch of the host machine turned OFF and ON again.
Additional Function> Common settings > Limited Functions Mode > change it from ON to OFF (don't forget to power cycle the host machine!)

If the Finisher Controller & the DC Controller Firmware are not matched the error E713 can also be generated - update both together with the latest.

DCON & Finisher Firmware never match /

u only need to update Finisher , when Canon recommends in pub.
many times just updating the DCON will help with installed options

Thanks for the correction teckat, I was of the understanding that any option installed or any glitch that may occur during operations should have the Firmware updated to ensure correct communications between the host and any attachments etc.
