    Canon IR 2880 Color Copier dog-ears copies

    Copier dog-ears copies slightly on the front and rear edge of the page when exiting the internal finisher. I've replaced the front and rear face-down guides, and the 4 white plastic delivery rollers that have the rubber rings around them. I can't figure out what the copies are hitting.Steve

    Does that machine have the hole punch option? I've seen dog ears caused by problems with punch home position being off.

      Internal Finisher Z1 only staples, groups, collates;

      Have you taken a look at the paper between fuser and finisher, any issues before being fed?

      I did have this issue once, I removed the finisher, inspected it as you have, I found that the paper path wasnt quite true, it was sagging somehow - reinserted and it did go away, thankfully, personally I dont like the Z1 type...

        Try with fresh paper
        Practice makes perfect
        If it ain't broke, don't fix it
