    =========================

    has a Sensor Init for the document feeder been done in service mode.

    0073 jam code from the DADF S1

    DADF S1, unit stops and the DADF indicates a jam. Paper is found at the No.1 Registration roller, and exiting the Delivery roller. The jam code listed in service mode is a 0073.

    Jam code may be resolved by replacing M4 (separation motor).
    This motor executes the pressuring or separation of the Read Roller 1. PI2 (separation HP sensor) detects the rotation and position of the pressure/release lever.
    Upon power on, M4 rotates one revolution and ends in a blocked state of PI2. As each sheet is fed through the DADF, M4 will rotate one revolution for each sheet.
    If no rotation is detected by PI2, a jam code of 0073 will be generated.
    M4 may be operating in an erratic manner due to a weak motor.

    M4 can be checked in Service Mode:
    Feeder > Function > MTR-CHK-3

    M4 part number is: FK2-0207-000

      Many thanks teckat. I'll test that motor next visit and I'll tell you about the result.

        I checked the motor M4 in another DADF and effectively that was the problem. I will replace it with a new one.
        Thank you very much teckat.
