    iR3300 contrast problem

This iR 3300 is having contrast issues. Print outs are too light/bright.

I suspect there is a problem with the tank. I tried to use a tank from another copier and the problem is resolved.

Is there anyway to fix the tank?

Try vacuuming it out completely, give the cylinder a good dry wipe and refill with fresh toner. If theres a lot of copies on it, you may want to replace the cylinder, bearings etc

Developer unit(what u called tank?) is a good possibility------but also clean the hvt contacts behind the drum for both primary and xfer charge assy's. Inspect the xfer roller xfer leaf springs for good connection and the xfer roller and surrounding parts for excess toner & clean. Drum unit----when was it replaced last? Do internal prints look light also---or just the copies? If internal prints are ok look for probably a problem with the optics(dirty,etc...) If both prints & copies are light and a good cleaning doesn't resolve the issue....betcha a drum unit or dv unit or both will resolve the issue. What's the meter on that machine?
