    C7000VP install starter

I have a C7000VP that does not have a screen for loading starter on each color seperately. copier/function/install only has three pages and some of the functions show init recv-4 but not individually recv-Y ect. need help.
One machine has everything like it is supposed to the other does not. thanks

would this do it /copier/function/clear/option 1 Mode for returning service mode (OPTION) settings to their
default values (values established when RAM is cleared)?

Never done this before any precautions I should be aware of?

    easy way out
I would re-load/overwrite the current firmware or update to latest v90.40 >> what ever u have available on hand

TIP: any time u update this Printer series Firmware > always do a full update/ never pick and choose single updates (ex.like DCON/RCON/LANGUAGE)-items may not be matched up serial number wise and could possibility have conflicting SSW- ??

u then should be able to Supply Starter in Service Mode under COPIER > FUNCTION > INSTALL > 2/4 SPLY-H-Y For Yellow, SPLY-H-M for Magenta, SPLY-H-C for Cyan, and SPLY-H-B for Black.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

U will have to sit there and re-enter all the Settings on those P PRINTS. & HOPE they are input correctly

OPTION Clear of service mode setting value (OPTION)
    Lv.1
Details To return the values of Main Controller PCB, DC controller PCB and Reader Controller PCB specified in service mode (COPIER>OPTION) to the default values (values at the time of RAM clear).
    Adj/set/operate method
    1) First>Output the service mode setting value by P-PRINT.
    2) Select the item, and then press OK key.
    The RAM data is cleared.
    3) As needed, enter the data output in step 1.

    Caution

Output the service mode setting values by P-PRINT before execution.
After execution, enter necessary setting value.
    Related service mode: COPIER> FUNCTION> MISC-P> P-PRINT

I am relatively new to this product line. mostly Xerox and Kodak high volume printers.

how do I input the P-Print values back in.

I have a copy of the USB_iPRC7000_v9040 never done it or seen it done, do I need to install sst to prepare the usb thumb drive to install the firmaware? and this machine is in a high production facility. not real anxiuous to take it down for a long time.

Is there any service providers in the Vegas area that could help me out in case we have a problem? It might be a good idea to have them come out here and pay them to walk us through the proceedure.
