IR105 - Drawer #3 won't shut, metal plate is now up blocking the drawer from closing

I had a jam all the way at the back of the machine, had to get the paper out. Now the drawer won't close back, it's stopping
half way because this metal plate that I think was flat before (looks flat down on Drawer 4) has now popped up and it won't budge.
    Won't go down.

Is it some type of safety? Anyone know how to get that back to where it was?

    -------------

remove draw>power printer off > on

Push up the pickup roller releasing lever with a finger. Does the pickup roller move down?
Remove the pickup assembly, and check the spring and the lever.
or there is a release for plate to drop level (use small screwdriver >open cover>look in small opening to push/lift gear engagement
