[Misc] Canon IR 2200 N Boot Rom/Firmware

Hello,

I am trying to find an N boot ROM to buy for a canon ir 2200 as well as the firmware to allow network printing. I installed the NIC, but cannot find this boot ROM or system software upgrade anywhere. I just recently started repairing copiers as part of my computer business. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Buy a Network Multi-PDL Printer Kit - C1 for "N" Boot Rom
then have someone load "N" Firmware with SST (Place a Service Call)


Make sure the bootrom is indeed an "N" type bootrom. Go to, Service Mode>Copier>Version>Boot-Rom, check to see if "N" is displayed next to the version.

Check ebay for the printer kit.

Wish I could help with that one. You have to love Microsoft. Try Linux.
