To summarize my problem on the IRC3200,
- color copy are not good and show ghost : you see it from the joined image (color copy10.jpg and original color copy1.jpg). Compared to the original scanned copy each charator in the copy are repeated 4 times and in each color of toner (black, cyan, magenta and yellow).

- there are displacement between charactor in the color copy

- if I do black and white only copy, copy are very foggy, i.e nothing appears on the sheet as you see on the figure "black only copy.jpg". The density of black color is very very low even when I parameter it in high level , please see the test color that i have done "test type5.jpg".

These are my problems if you could help me.
For your information, when I tempted to make adjustment for the laser exposure of black color by service mode It does'nt appear on the screen.

On the screen you can see the three first code listed below:

LD-ADJ-Y
LD-ADJ-M
LD-ADJ-C

But LD-ADJ-K (black laser) is missing and doesn't displayed on the screen
I have tryied by swaping laser unit balck and cyan but it still the same. I think that laser unit is not faulty but another one but I don't know what.

I think that laser unit for black color is faulty and I replaced it by another one, but it is still missing.

I have already replaced drum unit for black and yellow for a new one.

I appreciate your help on it.

Re: IRC3200

First print out a P print of all your settings.
Then do a DCON clear.
Then take your p print and renter all the values
Make sure to clean your transfer belt rollers.

Thank you for your help, I've PPRINT and DCON clear, ITB cleaning, gear laser adjustment and displacment color is corrected not 100% but compared to previous copy it's getting very well.

Now the big issue is black color missing? How do I to fix it

I had similar problem:

it happens because the access toner gets inside your transfer belt assembly and causes slippage of the belt when it rotates, thus miss-aligning the colors.

what you need to do is get the assembly out and clean it inside an out. all the rollers and the belt itself.
if you do that use extreme caution as the belt and assembly is fragile and if you brake it, it will cost you.

I deal with this every once in a while, you need plenty of space, vacuum and colorless alcohol to wipe the toner.

Sorry for the delay reply. I was on leave and had not access to my mail.
To fix my IRC3200 issues I have done and tried many thing.
The miss aligning color I've fix it by cleaning the assembly and all its rollers, gear laser adjustment
For the black color not printing: I suggest you to do the following as I 've done
1. try to replace the yellow drum by a new one. If trouble desappear your drum is faulty
2. try to swap the laser : yellow and another one (black or cyan). if the resulst is the same laser is not faulty.
3. if you have not money for buying the drum or laser. Try to swap the drum just for a test by changing the top and bottom cover. you can see instead of yellow color for example cyan or yellow or black. It is just to see that your drum is faulty.
4. i have here a post with teckat, i suggest you to read it because i've learned many thing about this type of copier from teckat.
