[Error Code] e 240 in ir4570

during install the sofware that message appears error 240 by using service support tool

E240 on machine??? No such error for this model.Is it a Service Support Tool error(pink screen)?

Re=seating the ribbon cable at connector J301 on the DC Controller PCB and J1029 on the Main Controller PCB may resolve the error code E240. If the ribbon cable is damaged and needs to be replaced the part number is FK2-0405-000. Service Support Tool is alternately displaying E240 error code. Remove & Re-seat all connections on the Main Controller, + Remove & Clean the contacts on the Boot Rom> as well as the socket on the Main Controller/ then re-seat Boot Rom

Not listed in my manual for this product,but in irc3380. I've had this error on irc3380(which also has a DC driver pcb) and its usually ribbon cable(either the one from main con to dcon,or dcon to DC driver ). You got it in your manual,Teckat? if so,time to update mine...lol

Not in manual/ found an old pub. for it

E240 code on SST HDD Firmware install also in a pub.

poster could have bad HDD ? wrong HDD ? a fail to Format first ??
