Canon CLC 3220 Fax Delay Problem

    Hallo

I have a Canon CLC 3220 Printer and i now have a fax problem.

For some reason the fax will delay or not send at all, when you dial a number, it does one beep then keeps quiet.. Sometimes it will wait either until tomorrow and suddenly wake up and dial the fax and send on it own..

Any ideas how to fix this? So all faxes are sent immediate after they are sent?

    Thank you..

Are documents being sent at a high resolution?
recommended that you send text only documents at a low resolution.

Is the ECM TX or ECM RX set to 'On' in Fax Settings in Communications Settings(from the Additional Functions screen)?
ECM (Error Correction Mode)This function does not operate unless ECM is set in both machines. If there is trouble with the line, it will take more time for the documents to be sent.
    NOTEThe default setting is 'On'.

If you are sending to a machine that takes time to switch over for fax receiving,
insert a pause after the destination's fax number.

Check to ensure that the remote machine can receive documents.

If it cannot, check to see whether the remote machine is switched OFF, is out of paper, or
    has sufficient available memory.
