canon 7095 code E000110-0000

Cant get rid if this code..i went to...additional function.hold 2 8 down then additional function press the copier button. Press function key. Pressed clear button err is the first button with nothing beside it. I press err button then ok press reset button twicw shut down. Turn off then back on and when it comes up E000110-000.thanks for any imput...and i do have the manual

So please tell us, what did you find ? You can not clear an Error without fixing it first.

kinda feel stupid what I am about to say.....I did have a copy image problem,so I took the main charge unit out and cleaned it.I didn't put the front cover that covers the main charge.all the copiers I have worked on,it is the first time I have seen that you have to put the frontcover on.the cover pushs the main charge in alittle futher.what was odd was I left the front door open and turned the copier on and still went into the error code.that was odd to me.it should have said close the front door and not go into the error after 15 sec..... so like I said felt stupid after I found it......one last note ,,,,it will not happen again.....

Thats a laser beam detect error....yeah the primary cover opens the shutter...we've all been there once. Kinda like leaving log cover off irc3200...patch shutter don't open

Yes, we all have this lesson. The Primary charging cover have a protrusion that pushes the laser shutter open when fixed in place.
If the Laser shutter is closed it puts an error E-110 when the machine is turned on.
