    IR-5055 finisher problem

    Hi all,
I have a problem with an IR-5055. It's showing "disable to use the finisher". Anyone know how to fix it? I think there is something to do for reset the disabled fonctions, but I don't know how!
    Help pls!

your finisher is probably in limited functions mode. You can also get into service mode and see what the error is to figure out a solution.

To disable limited functions you need to hit the additional functions key>common settings>limited functions mode. Change the settings and cycle the power.
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

If the sorter is in limited function mode----it's because a failure of some sort was detected. If it was a one time fault like someone interfering with tray movement(and assuming trays are not misaligned)....taking it out of limited function mode will do the trick. If not, and the error comes right back you will have to diagnose and repair the finisher. Start by checking the error code history in service mode to see what actually occurred and post the error code here with us for further assistance.
