My Laser unit not work, it get code 0100-001.
How to repair?
which compatible model machine?

i think not the laser just main charge unit dirty try to clean or replacet
or you can change setting in body-potential control change to 1

Primary duct cover broken probably. That cover that you take off to remove the primary......the upper left screw support breaks off and then the pin on the back of the duct doesn't fully open the laser shutter

I had verified that Laser Unit is fault by put it in another machine (same model : IR5075) and Error E0100-001 go with this Laser.

How to verify which part is fault, BD board or Laser Driver board?

Canon parts book doesn't break it down in parts. Go with Teckats advice and contact Nationwide in Kansas for assembly. Price isn't too bad
