    Canon IR3200 E602-0007

I have a Canon iR3200 with E602-0007 that seems to be related to the hard disk. I have run the HD check and HD clear and they both check out OK. Does anyone please know what else would cause this error?

    Thanks

Hard Disk error. After checking the cable and power connector, I would probably start up the machine in 'safe mode', format ALL using SST and reinstall the System(system, language,RUI) , and then power cycle the machine and see if it works.

      before u do a Format & re-load of firmware> I would look at the memory > remove>clean>re-seat or replace

had a quite a few 3200's with that 0007 code & it was bad memory> discovered it by trial and error (replacing and format of HDD would not clear the 602-0007 error

Do the firmware, overwrite all,no formatting. The color profile is missing. Quick to do before tearing into it. Like Teckat said, clean the ram and sub-board contacts. Notorious on this whole family of machines for poor contacts.
