    E740-0003 on IRC3380

Have an irc3380 that was working fine then moved to another location, it is now giving an E740-0003 (incorrect network ID is detected at startup). I tried a new LANBAR-C-BC board that the ethernet plugs into but before I start trying all the boards I wondered if someone has seen this and has an idea.

Try removing and cleaning contacts etc on RAM & interconnected PCBs in Controller Assy.

The following may be unrelated however worth a look.
    Symptom
Error code E740-0000 after a major storm passed through the area. This code was coming up on two machines at this customer's location after a storm. E740 is an error with the LAN-Bar PCB (NIC CARD). The tech had replaced the NIC card and that resolved the E740 error but the machine always displayed check network connection. After testing the machine with his laptop and a cross over cable he was successful in printing to the machine and the check network connection message was gone.

    Action
In this case, the tech had to replace the LAN-BAR PCB (FM2-9611-000) to resolve the E740 code. He also discovered that the storm blew out some ports on the customers switch and hub. That is why he would get the check network connection when the machine was connected to the customers network. The customer replaced the switch and hub to correct the check network connection message.
