    Booklet Finisher-D1

    Greetings to all.

Problem with Booklet Finisher-D1 (iR ADV 8105).

Stapling on corners - OK, the brochure - OK. Double stapling - only one back staple is present. The front staple is not present.

Codes of errors and jams in history are not present. The device worked without problems till the moment of replacement of a stapler unit (there was error Е532). After replacement some times double stapling was normal. There was a problem...

The system has been updated: MN - v46.02, FIN_CON - v33.01. What could happen?

Any ideas are accepted with gratitude..

    G'day mate, I am assuming the Corner, Brochure & Double Stapling, is OK from Tray 1 (A) and/or Tray2 (B) - right?

I am thinking the problem is from Saddle Stitching which comes out of the Bottom Tray - if so pull the lower Drawer Section out & check the Staple Cartridges to ensure they both have Staples present, if Staples are there/ok then check for a bent or jammed Staple in the Front Cartridge.

I helped someone with this issue. In this case it would double staple sets of 20 or less.
You can run test prints PG1 or whatever, and set FINISH to 2 ( this does double stapling).

The solution had to do with the stapler interference sensor being blocked intermittently, when the stapler came forward.
Watch it and Check for a broken spring or, something making it bounce.
I think he ended up raising the stapler mount to prevent the sensor from being blocked

        Thanks to all

The problem was with the activator of the stapler interference sensor and springs

        Good luck
