G'day mate, I am assuming the Corner, Brochure & Double Stapling, is OK from Tray 1 (A) and/or Tray2 (B) - right?

I am thinking the problem is from Saddle Stitching which comes out of the Bottom Tray -

if so pull the lower Drawer Section out & check the Staple Cartridges to ensure they both have Staples present, if Staples are there/ok then check for a bent or jammed Staple in the Front Cartridge.

I helped someone with this issue. In this case it would double staple sets of 20 or less.
You can run test prints PG1 or whatever, and set FINISH to 2 ( this does double stapling).

The solution had to do with the stapler interference sensor being blocked intermittently, when the stapler came forward.
Watch it and Check for a broken spring or, something making it bounce.
I think he ended up raising the stapler mount to prevent the sensor from being blocked
