[Misc] PC 745 paper tray issue

An actuator and spring fell out of this copier.
It does not jam but when you pull out the paper tray the 1st 2 sheets get torn up.
I assume that is actuator is to keep the paper down when removing the tray but I cannot figure out where it was mounted.
Any clues?
I am a copier tech but never worked on Canon copiers.

is it a small white piece? if so most likely it's the part that goes direcly under the pick up roller, there's a small gap in the frame, you can just about clip it back in!

They may be paper tray parts. Does the tray lock into the copier or can you pull it out without squeezing the lever? Squeezing the tray lever lowers the paper in the tray and release the tray from the copier.
