[Error Code] Canon IRC-2880i Fixing Film

Hi Techs,
I'm trying to help out a friend with a Canon IRC-2880i. The fixing film is torn and needs replacement, but they have told him that the price of this Fixing Film Asm depends on the serial No. of the machine, which sounds a little like BS to me. Can someone please confirm if this is so, and that the only Part no. for this machines fixing film is FM3-1993-000.

If machine is 120 volt model,yes this is the only number. If machine is 100 volts or 230 volts,different number. 1992 for 100v,1993 for 120v,1994 for 230v

I have a spare film ass'y for 240v (FM3-1994-000) it's that's any good to you?

I have to rebuild some of these fusers, how much should I be paying for FM3-1994-000 in the UK?
