Scanfront 220

Hey guys I have client that just got a canon scanfront 220. I know it's not a copier but it has the same functionallity as the copiers. He has about 30 IR copiers that all work for scanning. When we try to setup the scanfront it keeps asking for a username and password. I tried all the setps for SMB and digital signing for win2k3. I can not figure out why it will not work when it works fine for the copiers. It works fine when trying to access a win2k server share but fails on win2k3. If anyone has any other ideas please add.

I dont know the answer, but maybe job accounting is turned on, if that is possible on that model.
