That was my nozzle check scan print from SERVICE MODE - have a lock !

First downgrade from 1.07 to 1.06 review archi.forma @ hotmail.com.
Do not do this with version 1.07 does not work you mark code -4050.
You must turn the team in service mode by pressing information, selection of loose leaf roll, keep pressure on the top two until I see S in the top left. Screen. mantenimiento.menu reset the cartridge service-mode-INITIALIZE-W-INK-ok
1. obstructs cover sensor. and light with lid open. When the carriage moves to the left cuts power
Two. obstruct the sensor as painted purple in Figure 2y3 with black electrical tape measure and cut the required size should be inverted L-shaped. but first wipe it with cloth because it must be wet ink sensor eye just cleaned all. Turn in service mode
Three. pick head cleaning -> A head cleaning, no cleaning choose B because it spends a lot of ink in all colors, just choose the cleanliness A. Leave dialing code-2F30. If not silted 2F30 mark well the sensor nozzle check. Again. No light it in normal mode. if you can not code 2F30
April. if you managed 2F30 in service mode and then turn off in normal mode and ready. prints
if you can not do this will have to travel a technician, not make more than 3 times the procedure because it is spending their inks, and using again the maintenance cartridge.

I will try to do it of course, can you tell me that it this will resolve the problem - Message error:'' Exectute printhead cleaning, if the ptoblerm will appear again change printhead '' ? after procedure to cover some sensor above

I've found where is head management sensor in CANON IPF 605 as the picture above indicates head managemet sensor in printer IPF 8000 which is slightly different

and then we need to find out how to cover head management sensor in the printer IPF 605 model ?

YOU SHOULD NOT DO FORCE YOURS CUSTOMER TO CHANGE PRINTHEAD WHICH IS NOT REALLY BROKEN OR FAIL, WE CUSTOMER SHOULD DECEIDED WHEN WE NEED TO CHANGE TO PRINTHED - IF WE SEE THAT QUALITY ARE NOT GOOD !!

EVERYONE WHO HAS A PROBLEM WITH MESSAGE WHICH APPEAR ON YOUR LCD PRINTER ( MY PRINTER IS IPF 605) THAT PRINTHEAD NEED TO BE REPLACED, BUT THEY WOULD LIKE TO CARRY ON USEING THER PRINTHEAD STILL EVEN IF QUALITY IS NOT 100% GOOD (PLEASE REMEMBER THAT PRINTHED HAS OVER 15 000 NOZZLES, IF PRINTER MANAGEMENT SENSOR WILL FIND THAT MORE THAT 320 NOZZLES ARE BLOCKED THE PRINTING)

BY THE WAY , REMEMBER THAT YOU NEED TO DOWNGRADE FIRMWARE TO 1.06 AS THIS IS REQUIRED ( IN VER 1.07 THE CANON ADD SOMETHING TO BLOCK USE ABOVE PROCEDURE WITH SENSOR COVER BY BLACK ELECTRIC TAPE)
AND L-PRINTER SERVICE TOOLS 1.70 ~!

I do understand your exaltation... but be aware of one thing:

what you did is cheat the printer to think that all the nozzles are firing correctly and the print-head is fine.

Do you think Canon invented this protective measure just to get more money out of their customers ???

Did you ever think of what will happen to the main board if the nozzles of the head are blocked and everything get overheated ?

The answer is easy....

The most important at the moment that printer works fine. I will let all customer know how long I will be able using this printer. I don't care that printer do PUUUFFF as some above said, I just will buy brand new , but this time it will not be a CANON !

the is a plenty of customer who are did the same, what do you think why CANON updated firmware from 1.06 to 1.07 where is the update that you can do it ???

Im going to put some post every month with update about printing quality and printer itself.


The people in this post , who are not helping, but saing that the printhead or printer will do PUUUUFFF because we do what we done, probably will works for CANON SERVICE or any SERVICE who are selling the expensive parts for printer and are not happy of the solution we do !!!
