How would you compare our imagerunner SMB windows scanning to Mac Server

Looking at setting up a ir3025 or similar system to a mac server. I have not any experience doing that and was hoping to hear some opinion about it. OS 10.7 and up BTW. Is it simply the same? Pitfalls ?

    Hi,

Might not be possible. As starting from Mac 10.7 and above, Apple has kinda push up SMB version Toa higher level. It uses a higher security than previous MacOS.

You might want to go via FTP method / email, as most web sites are recommending. Do note, FTP in MacOS is default off and might require some basic understanding of terminal commands

I have the instructions to set up FTP on the advance machines if anyone needs it. Its a IT admin job and yes they have to go in and turn FTP option on. Copier techs would not have to deal with it.
