    IR1133 showing E355-0004

Hie guys. I have an IR1133 which has been working fine since January when it was installed. All of a sudden the display is up side down and its in Chinese. Can only make out the error code E355 - 0004. Cant get into service mode to reset. Any ideas?

    --------------------------------------------

E355-004 denotes a mismatch of the three serial numbers items: Serial Number pcb, MNCON pcb, and Counter Memory pcb.
Mismatch of serial numbers of three items: Serial Number PCB, Main Controller / Image Processor PCB (SRAM) and Counter
    Memory PCB.

    who has been swapping pcb's

enter Service Mode Level 3 and perform an E355 Clear as follows:
Additional Functions button then 2/8 keys then Additional Functions button
Additional Functions button then 1/9 keys then 3
    COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>E355-CLR
Turn OFF and then ON the equipment.

This machine was installed in January, the only thing that was changed is the tonner cartridge. That's it!!! Nothing has ever been done to it except that. We haven't even opened any cover until now when the machine found its ancestry back to Asia

        =============

First try removing & Re-fitting all the harness connections within the control panel assembly
        Removing the Control Panel
        1) Open the ADF Unit + Reader Unit [1].1.JPG
        2) Release the claw [1], and remove the Arm Cover [2].
        2.JPG3.JPG

        3) Release the Connection of Arm [1] and turn it toward the rear.
        4.JPG5.JPG

        4) Remove the 2 Blanking Sheets [1] and 4 Screws [2] On the Bottom Of the Reader Unit.
        CAUTION:
Since the Blanking Sheet [1] Needs to be Purchased Separately, be Careful Not to Lose
        it After Removing It.
