I have a IP W8200 I got some ink's which say they are for a w7200 w8200 and w8400 ( bci1411 ink's) but when I try to use them it gives me a error for that ink. The BCI 1421 ink work fine any thoughts?

Re: ink's for a IP w8200
Are they Genuine Canon Ink cartridges?
Its always best to use OEM.
Maybe there old.
Stick to what works.
If you don't mind me asking where did you get them from.
Hope to hear back. -
Re: ink's for a IP w8200
There are two different kinds of W8200's. One is dye based ink and the other uses pigment based ink. I dont think that you can change from one to the other once it has been set to use one type. The BCI 1421 inks are the pigment based inks. BCI 1411 is the dye based inks. Also the print heads are different between the two different types of machines.Comment
