i have this one not lining up in color on the bottom portion of the image. works ok in black and white but not in color copying and printing. looks like a writing problem with the laser. dont have the service manual on this one but if i go back with the laser unit i'll probably need to input some values. the log on the door did not have any defaults from the factory for the laser set up written in or should i be looking into another area. help appreciated.

First do a > Auto Color Mismatch Correction
To access Auto Color mismatch correction, select the following.
Addition Functions > Adjustments and Cleaning > Auto Color Mismatch Correction
Did u Perform a quick adjust, reg-clear and adjust image registration ------
To clear the data, perform the following.
Enter Service Mode: Level 2 (see below
)>
Copier > Function > Clear > Reg/Clear. Highlight Reg/Clear and press OK.
After performing the clear, reboot the machine and perform a Gradation Quick Adjust and then a Full Gradation adjust.
usually on this model when Color Registration is Off/ it's a ITB issue
a fault in the shape of the registration (inside/ outside) roller, and a fault in the secondary transfer outside roller.

When replacing the laser scanner unit, register the values described on the label which is included in the package in the service modes below. After registration, attach the label onto the front cover.
COPIER > FUNCTION > LASER > FSLUT-Y1 to 8

COPIER > FUNCTION > LASER > FSLUT-C1 to 8

Auto grad fixes the effed up registration on these machines pretty darn well actually. Have had 100% success with just a full auto gradComment
