Funny thing is - this model has that message _ for real_ could be an auto update
thru RUI

Uau now that's really a new one, never seen a canon with bios in it, gotta take a good look at that one and see what's the use, could be a change of name to bootrom, or an auto update functionality, will have to check it out, learning new stuff everyday THANK YOU
well the service manual is bigger than the firmware, if you need any of of them PM me, you could start with a firmware update to see if it solves the rom's bug

I have the same firmware problem. any solution please
