IR C5250 iphone printing

Do you need anything other than the Canon M app to have this machine printing from a iphone or ipad. Is the direct print software needed? We can see another Canon and print to it but not the new C5250. They are using wireless within there network. Thanks

Pretty sure you have to have the Direct Print and Scan for Mobile MEAP software on the machine.

CMP is a free application that enables user to print photographs, web pages, images, PDF files, and Document files from an iPhone or iPad using a Canon Multi-function Printer (MFP) or Laser Printer. The CMP application can be downloaded from Apple AppStore.

If you are using an Apple iPhone or iPad running iOS 5 or higher, you must disable SSL communication on the MEAP device.
