    [Error Code] How to get and hard disk working

    Hello I just got a second hand canon ir 3320i. But the hard isk is missig I'm in africa don't know where to get a new hard disk please help me to solve this problem. thanks in advance you can mail me at amson2001@hotmail.com

      Any one of these HDD's will fit your machine, eBay is a good cheap place to look, just search for the model number e.g ""MPC3032AT"

          Keep this in mind: Even if u get the above recommended hard disk from e bay or any of the computer stores there in Abidjan, don't think that you will simply plug it into the copier and expect it to work automatically. You will still need to do some work on it; you will need the service support tool (sst) to format the hard disk and load the the machine's system soft ware (firmware) in it, for it to work; and it takes a while to learn how to use these tools, let alone get them. The best advice in your case would be to contact the 'Canon agent or rep' nearest to you and allow their technician do the job for you. Alternatively get an experienced independent canon tech help you get the job done.

              Yes,get a tech in. They can get you going. Other hdds will work if you modify the HDformat.ift file. Get a tech
