I fought today with a IRADV8095 throwing me an E017-001 (ITB home position failure) and an E996-400 (Software Timeout failure [WTF?] ) in a row, but not steady (that would be far too easy), just every 300-400 sheets it throws first an E017, after a few minutes an E996
I upgrade the software to the latest and greatest, check for mechanical issues all to no avail. After a long time of try and error, i figured out, that this problem only occurs while using custom size paper (in this case 250x350 mm). sheets, at least he will get his job done but with much more paper usage. I forwarded this problem to canon and we will see, what happens. This has nothing to do with the tech note "F1-T01-N11-10081"
