    Copy,print or both? Off the glass,through adf? SCANNER/READER/OPTION/BODY/SENS-CNFG set to 1? Do all install adjustments(ccd-adj,white levels,df stuff,etc)?

Displays the message in the top of the UI when the machine is in standby.

If I understand what you're saying, which I probably don't, actually I'm sure I don't, you have a tray that is setup for legal paper but just doesn't have any paper in the tray. Of course the alternative thought is that you have a print job that desperately wants to print on legal paper, but you have no trays designated legal for which the paper can be pulled from. Finally, could there be a piece of paper jammed behind one of the trays just messing with your brain?

no. Job queue is empty. Nothing to be printed at all. The customer does NOT use LGL paper they only use LTR in all 4 trays. There's a message at the top of the copy screen that says "Load LGL size paper". Trust me I wouldn't be asking the question if it was one of the regular "you have a job that requires lgl please load it" messages
