jam mark

my ir5570 indicated that there is a jammed paper, i have took all paper, but the machine still displaying paper jam mark, can anybody help me please?

Hi Andy, I'm guessing you're not a Tech, if you check in Service Mode - ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS > press 2+8 together > ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS > COPIER > DISPLAY > JAM (and) ERROR then POST the Codes/info displayed - someone will guide you from there.

Where does it say to remove paper from? What area? The inlet guide to the fuser has a power-on jam sensor..the arm sticks down from web oil vapours and paper fibers. Personally i cut the part of the arm that blocks photo-interrupt right off. Useless sensor..doesn't declare paper jams while running,just checks for paper at power on. Fixing inlet sensor..code is 0A17

i see in service mode-display-jam,
the machine says to remove paper at outlet from fuser, i have remove the paper, there is no paper on unit 1 and unit 2, all jam was clear,
then i reset unit 1 and unit 2, but the machine stil displaying jam mark, and no red spot mark, no jam code,

the problem solved by restart the machine,

I'm not sure what you mean about 'RED SPOT MARK' .

Post a photo of the JAM Display and also the ERR Display - Andy we need to know the Jam & Error Codes to enable the Techs to assist in solving the problem.
