    My office is saying reader power supply. Problem intermittent cable from copier to reader looks fine any ideas?

      Hi, the error 227-0003 make a reference the a fault of the tension alimentation 24 vdc in the pcb of reader. Check the connection j2027 in the pcb MAIN CONTROLLER, check the pcb of controller reader j5 in the reader unit 24vdc.

          The imageRUNNER is producing an error code of E227. This may be caused by a lack of 24 volts to the Reader Controller.

          Workaround :
          Check the 24 volt supply to the Reader Controller at J501. If 24 is not present, check J535 from the Relay PCB. If 24 Volts is not present at J535 on the Relay PCB, the problem may be the 24 Volt Power Supply. The 24 Volt Power Supply sends 24 volts to the relay PCB, at J539. In this case replacing the 24 Volt Power Supply, resolved the E227 error.

          The part number for the 24 volt Power Supply is FK2-6317-000.
