[Misc] Canon IPR C1 printing very slow when standart color

Hello. I'm printing black text with color graphics. I understand when printer printing slow pages with color. But pages with only 100% gray it prints very slow like the others. I checked, there is no other color printed in the text except black, but as I said it is printing very slow. When I change CMYK to grayscale in printer properties it prints much faster, but i cant print the whole document in grayscale, i just want the 100% black pages in document to be printed fast. Is there any method?

Hi, Are you using a server efi T1 , Which printer driver are you using ? PS or PCL?
Try Reinstall the system of server T1 if you are using it.

The problem is that you have a ImagePRESS C1. This machine was never built for speed, it was intended to be a 'proof' printer.

Unfortunately most people who have these used to have a CLC that actually maintained a decent cpm.

All I can tell you is be patient and be glad that it actually passes a readable copy out the other side.
