Ir 3300. Copier only....no print or scan reacting very slowly. When you try and copy.... It takes about 20 seconds before it starts and then copies and works normally. When you try and enter service mode it hesitates and then let's you in. If you try and print a user list in service mode it accepts the input but then takes about 2 minutes to respond and then prints normally. Hdd? Any comments appreciated.

Other than mmi clears and the like. Slow 2200/3300's are usually indicative of the hard drive failing. You can usually hear the HDD chugging away when you scan/print anything. -

Re: Canon Ir 3300. Responding slow
Had a call this morning on a 3225 being slow, ui very unresponsive. Had to run a copier > function > system > hd-clear and all was well. Might be worthwhile trying first. If you can physically hear the hard drive chugging away chances are it's the HDD.Comment

Re: Canon Ir 3300. Responding slow
We have had to replace a ton of hdd's on this model also. Never saw a hard drive make the machine react slowly before. Normally when hdd fails unit will not boot up and error code 602 occurs. But replacing the hdd did end up fixing the issue.............thanks again for responding & A Very Happy New Year to all.sigpicAnything can be made to work if you fiddle with it long enough- San Diego Copier Repair.comComment
