    irc4080 shuts down

I have a customer that moved their C4080 to another location, small town, no techs nearby. It worked fine for several months but now when they turn it on it starts to warm up then stops, screen goes blank but green power light is still on. Also, if he opens the fuser drawer, it will power all the way up, says to shut fuser drawer, as soon as he shuts it, it goes off again. Walked him through getting into service mode (w/drawer open) but no error codes listed in the history. Any ideas?

u need to make sure the front side locking latch( HOOK, FIXING/FEEDER LOCK) is not bent/ fuser door can look closed> but when up powered up>it pops away from vibration

result is no error>& message to shut fuser draw

see this many times--it's usually from customer pulling /pushing in fuser draw (rail can also become twisted)

Could also have a short to one of your thermistors in your Fixing Assy.... seen them shut the machine down before with no error code whatsoever.
