if it happens on prints as well then I'd point at the yellow drum. If only on copies then dirty CCD or it's blown. Does it do shadows or just lines?

Yes, i clean all the mirrors the ccd unit and the scanlamp too, the prints are ok so i don't think is the drum, the problem is : All background except the image is yellow, i want to share the samples but i can't upload the files...

if it's not on prints then it's a scanner issue. Couple things that I can see.

First check the ribbon cabling from the Reader Controller to the Interface PCB for any damage or a lose connection ( J202 / J203 ). If the ribbon cabling checks out fine suspect a faulty Interface PCB Assembly ( FM2-0036-040 ).

Tried replacing the Dc Controller 1, Dc Controller 2, Main controller, and the yellow laser. This did not help. Replaced the lower of the 2 Main controller Sub EF-A-pcbs. This resolved the issue.

MAIN CONT. PCB ASSY, PDRM-EF-A FM2-7429-000

Run an rcon clear and then perform a ccd-adj and see if that helps. The obligatory p-print before all adjustments goes without saying.

WELL, MY FRIEND IS ALSO A TECHNICIAN AND HE MADE THE AUTO GRADIATON ADJUSTMENT TWO MONTHS AGO.

THAT COULD THE PROBLEM? PLEASE TELL MORE ABOUT IT. THANK YOU TECKAT.

I DID THE RCON CLEAR AFTER THE PROPPER REVISION WAS MADE (THANK YOU northernlife) AND UNTIL NOW THE PROBLEM HAS SOLVED. I'M GOING TO SEE IF THE PROBLEM APPEARS AGAIN TO MAKE ANOTHER VISIT TO THE CLIENT.

THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE HELP.......

auto color mismatch and a full auto grad are there for a reason, because they work. It's part of my call procedure to do both at every call. I also train my clients to do it before they do a large run to "ensure optimal copy quality"

auto gradation should be done every morning before they start running the machine period and as northernlife pointed out before they run any long jobs.
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

I have had to change drums due to backgrounding. Usually happens past the normal drum life.
In Service Mode under Display>Misc shows the percentages of drum life.
