IRC6800 scanning twice on platen

Gentlemen,
I got this problem, IRC 6800 is scanning twice instead of once ,it always repeat the scanning process before it copies. have you ever experienced this? Dunno what the problem is.

if ever you know what causes this please tell me what should I do. thanks!

I think you firstly clear DC from service mode
before you should print the p-print to restore the values if the image get worst
after that may you upgrade the firmware by SST

Workaround is to change in SERVICE MODE>COPIER>LEVEL 2>OPTIONS>BODY>SCANSLCT to "0"

bit more info on this. scanslct scans the first time to do size detection and then the second tiime to actually scan the image.
