Canon IPF 6100 wide format

Got another one pissing and moaning.
2mos ago customer calls and says its "requiring a printhead cleaning (L) replace print thead if message comes back." easy enough, replaced the printhead and the 3 gallons of ink it uses to refill the system, all good.
FWD>I get a call yesterday saying it says the same thing, run out there and of course the ink is at 50% so could only do one p/h cleaning. Updated firmware while I was there and restarted the system and ran a test and the same P/H message comes up.
Any Ideas? the new printhead has less than 600 sqft ran through it.

1. Check for bent purge wipers with a flash-light.
2. Check for purge caps sucking function with some water.
3. Check for air in the tubes
4. If all above is fine - replace main-board and or carriage.

I recently worked on a similar wide-format machine with a similar problem. Just re-seated the ribbon cable that leads from the print head assembly and tadaaa, no more errors. Give it a try, though I consider it a long shot.
