I know the above machine is a bit long in the tooth, but thought id post my experience. recently had to upgrade to windows 8 64bit from xp. As you'll be aware there are no postscript drivers for the c1 rip on this machine. I tried pcl but the margins were no good for my jobs at 6.3mm, the postscript has much smaller margins. a chap on here referred to trying the gx100/200/300/400 postscript drivers.
i had most success with the 200 version where i was able to send to mailboxes successfully. the problem i had was that the driver always sent the print job as plain paper and i was unable to select the correct tray. I could see by comparing PPD files between the c1 XP (EFNC9E23.PPD) version and the gx200 (EF538981.PPD) version that there were discrepancies to how the driver referenced the paper names and trays. by altering the PPD file of the gx200 i was able to successfully make the gx200 drivers work correctly. You can see which PPD file is referenced by examining the inf files withing the driver files.
hope this may help someone out there.
