    ir C4080 blue backgrounding

So I'm just starting to remember why I stopped working on color equipment a few years ago, it's stuff like this. So this copier was printing quite nicely except for some miner color registration adjustment needed. But now it prints a blue background on only the documents that come from my computer, all else is great. I was tinkering with the various print outs in service mode when I got my first blue backed image so I suspect that I did something bad in there but what? Any help would be so greatly appreciated.

Also, I would like to buy a service manual for this copier, any ideas where I could get one?

Does anybody know where the individual color registration values are on this machine, I can't quite remember the terminology but it's maybe something like offsets? dunno.

Thanks in advance for any portion of information that you can supply. I really love this website! Normally I'd have beaten my head against a wall a few times and yelled at the copier until I felt that begging was maybe a better option but LOL things are much better with the power of many!

    see PM------

    registration looks fine/

do u have a Print out of your P PRINT Settings before u made changes

    COPIER>ADJUST>PASCAL>OFST-P-Y/M/C/K

Use it to apply offset adjustment on the test print reading signal (Y) for PASCAL control at time of auto gradation correction (full).

    Method of Adjustment

    - a higher setting will make the image darker after auto gradation correction (full).
Range of Adjustment: -128 to +128 [Factory default/After RAM clear: 0]

Run a Auto Calibration > then use the Kodak Gray Scale to Calibrate the H1 Fiery
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    COPIER>ADJUST>COLOR>OFST-Y/M/C/K

Adjustment of bright section density and color balance in Y
    Adjustment range: -32 to +32
    Method of Adjustment
When the document base cannot be read correctly, offset the color balance in the bright section. Increase the value to
increase density. Decrease the value to decrease density.
When removal of the base was not performed correctly and the image looks like a fogging image, decrease the value until
    the fogging image disappears.
[Factory setting value / Value after execution of RAM clear: 0]

Is your Cyan drum coated with toner? If so replace it...

I'll check the Cyan drum when I get to the shop. This copier prints blue only from my computer. It prints perfectly fine if I copy something from the glass or the ADF or if I generate a "user settings" or something internal to the copier itself. I will admit that I am new to this copier and so I was fiddling around in the service mode when this happened. I just can't quite remember what I did? I have re-installed the drivers into my computer in the hopes of solving this problem and yet the computer generated documents are still blue. I've also shut the Fiery and copier down numerous times and have rebooted them boot. It's really odd that it only happens when the print is generated from a computer and not when it is from other sources such as a copy from the glass, which works fine. My final solution will be to clear DC-Con and reprogram it or clear the H1 colorpass back to default settings if I have no further options. As mentioned I was playing with the service mode and more precisely in the printout section. So I suspect that the problem is in whatever I've done in there because the copier arrived in my shop running quite well.

          OK...

Open your front door, remove the inner cover. You should find some pink papers, these are your factory service mode values. Check everything and make sure your service mode values match.

Reboot machine to save any changes made.
