    Assembly help canon IR3045

    Hello all, I'm trying to assemble an IR3045 (I think) And have an item that came in the big box.. its a green tube, with gears on both sides, looks like it snaps in somewhere in the unit, but not sure where... anyone have an install manual or service manual I can download? Really need some help, I'm at a military installation, and this thing doesnt work .. at all..

      sounds like the drum. How did you get it without it being at least setup? I guess the military uses a dealer that does not setup the machine before it is installed? Well, I'll give you a hint... it requires a screw driver and removal of at least the front cover. If you are familar with printer/copiers that use single part toner/drum cartridges that just slide in with no screws being removed, this is not it. Call your dealer to have it setup.
      The glass maybe half full, but less is more...
      Printer + Fax + Copier = Jack Of Many Trades,
      but Master Of None
      Color Copier = Not A Color Printer
      InkJet MFP = Not A Fax Machine
      B/W Copier = Not A Press
      Finisher = Deal Closer (salesman, not accessory)
      Copier Tech = Admin's Stress Ball (Scapegoat)

          I agree call a dealer for set up.. even if you get the drum in you still have more to do to get it to work... there is no toner in the machine ect... you need a tech to come out and install the machine
