    ============================

The finisher door latch can be causing the intermittent error codes.
An interruption of 24v through the door switch due to the screws loose on the door magnet will allow the door to de-actuate the switch.

Confirm the screws for the magnet that holds the door in place are tight and the door is closing properly.

Has Finisher Power Supply voltage been checked /or replaced ??

    E566
    -8001
Check MSW1 Mounting Screw (XB1-2230-809). MSW1 is one of the safety micro-switches which cuts off the 24VDC from the Power Supply. Remount the screw or replace

    Note:
there are three series circuits for the fuse pcb.
If any one of these series circuits are in an open state E566 code will occur for the finisher.
1-You should have continuity at J413 of the Fuse pcb for the Stapler Safety switches - MSW 5 and MSW 6.
2-You should have continuity at J414 of the Fuse pcb for the Finisher Front Door switch - MSW 1.
3-And you should have continuity at J415 of the Fuse pcb which goes to the Z-Folding Paper unit if that finisher accessory is installed.

    ***
If the Z-Folding Paper unit is not installed, a jumper wire should be plugged into J415 of the Fuse pcb. If the jumper wire is missing from J415 (J415 is just an open connection), E566 code will occur for the finisher.

    arrow
    pointing to jumper--------------

    ---///

    In a few cases-------
The Front and Rear Stapler Safety switches (MSW5 and MSW6) in the finisher were not activated (micro switches were in an open condition), affecting 24 VDC operation for the Fuse PCB in the finisher (MSW5 and MSW6 plug into J413 on the finisher Fuse PCB).

The Upper Left Side Cover on the Finisher was not seated properly / out of position. The Upper Left Side Cover, when positioned correctly, activates both MSW5 and MSW6.

Error code E566 was resolved after the Upper Left Side Cover of the Finisher was reseated / re-positioned properly.

              September 14, 2006

              Product : imageRUNNER 7086 / 7095 /7105

              Finisher-V1 / Saddle Finisher-V2

              Title : E568 code

Error : Error code E568 is occurring. E568 code pertains to a malfunction occurring with M8 ( Transport Roller Shift motor) or PS9 ( Transport Roller Home Position sensor). Both devices are located in the Upper Feeder assembly of the finisher. The Upper Feeder assembly is in the Finisher Top Cover.

Workaround : This service issue can be caused by a static charge build up in the Upper Feeder assembly. Inspect the Upper Cable Guide for proper installation (a blue grounding wire harness) shown in Fig. Q37 below. Check for loose or missing grounding screws. Refer to attached pictures.
