    Finisher R1 / Q1
    Saddle Finisher R2 / Q2

Finisher will miss-staple and sometimes will not staple sets, also improper stacking occurs in stack tray.
Check if the Drive Belt has come off of M32, the ejection motor. This belt provides drive to the upper ejection rollers. When removing and reinstalling M32 ensure drive belt is properly installed.

The buffer stopper arm can wear causing poor alignment on a multiple sheet run. If the copy paper drags when pushed into the buffer, it will then feed erratically into the swing area and cause skewed output. Inspect the buffer stopper arm for rough spots and replace it if necessary (FL2-0807-000). See item #28 in the diagram below. The part can also be viewed at Figure Q11 in the parts catalog.

Check the e-rings that secure the rollers at the "1st Delivery Roller" as shown below. If a e-ring is not secured properly the Delivery Rollers will sit uneven and cause the prints to exit skewed.

Note: Another diagram of the Rollers can be found in the Finisher R2 Service Manual page 2-47

Due to poor engagement and wear of the Electromagnetic Clutch (CL32), the paper may hit against the upper part of the Return Roller and skew. The skew will prevent the paper from reaching the end assist guide, resulting in the stack not being stapled.

    CL32 part number is FH6-5101-030
