Reset ID Mode On Canon IR330s

I have a customer with a Canon IR330s. When I was showing them the Department ID Mode I put in a temporary username and password. After the demonstration I cleared out the 1 and only username and password which was the one I put in. I backed out of the ID Mode without shutting it off. Now its stuck in the ID Mode lock screen and the machine is locked out asking for a username and password. I've tried all the normal things in service mode to reset it to no avail. Does Canon have a default username and password? It seems like the copier is still looking at the blank spaces under registration as a username and password. Help! Listed below is what I've tried in service mode. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

    Function>Clear>MMI-Copy(also Fax and Com)
    Function>Clear>DC-Con(also IP and Err)

According to manual, copier/func/clear/fax initializes data for ID and ID password by group.

If the customer/or tech forgets their ID number, there a way to get into Additional Functions to disable ID Mode

If you are locked out by ID Mode, press the "Printer I/F key" (even if no printer board is present), then press the "Additional Functions" key and you can access the ID Mode screen.

      or-----------------------
      imageRUNNER 330 / 400

When Department ID Management is selected under Additional Functions > Custom Common Settings, the message "Enter The System Settings Password" appears on the Control Panel LCD display.
The System Settings Password has been mis-placed or forgotten.

      If In service mode ( * 2 / 8 * ) > Copier > Functions > Clear; PWD-CLR (Password Clear) does not appear.
The Image Processor PCB firmware is only up to version 38.
(PWD-CLR appears in service mode when firmware for the Image Processor PCB is up to version 40 or higher.)

IP Clear, MMI-COPY Clear and MMI-COM Clear were all performed in service mode. Custom Common Settings under Additional Functions was initialized.

Forgetting the System Settings Password, the issue is resolved by entering the Master Password of 4559769 (which is also used for the GP 200 machine) as the System Settings Password, which then allowed the machine to display the original System Settings Password that had been entered/stored in the memory of the machine.

stuck at the Department ID screen and do not know the password,
there is a way to bypass this.

Disable the Department ID Management and Passwords=

If you find yourself stuck at the Department ID screen and do not know the password, there is a way to bypass this. To Disable Dept ID:
      1. You must select the Options or Print/IF button.
      2. Then Press * Additional Functions.
      3. Press Custom Common Settings.
      4. Scroll down until you get to Dept ID Management. Select OFF.
NOTE: If when you Select Dept ID settings, you get prompted for the System Settings password, you must enter it. If you do not know it, you must delete it.
      To Delete System Settings Password:

      For the imageRUNNER 330 / 400 / 550 / 600 / C2050 / C2058 models:

      1. Go into Service Mode. Press * Additional Functions, Press 2 and 8 number keys simultaneously, then Press * Additional Functions.
      2. From the Service Mode screen. Select COPIER.
      3. Select the FUNCTION tab.
      3. Select CLEAR.
      4. Under CLEAR, select PASSWORD.
      5. Scroll to the second page and select PWD-CLR. Hit OK.

This will clear out the Systems Settings Password.

Note that the copier's firmware (IP, MFC, etc) must be up to date. Otherwise, the PWD-CLR option may not be present in Service Mode. If the PWD-CLR option is not present, you can upgrade the machine's firmware or you can try using the procedure listed below for the imageRUNNER 210 and GP200 models.

For the imageRUNNER 210 and GP200 models:

You need to enter the master password override 4559769 when it asks for the system password. Once you hit OK, it will show you the forgotten original password. At that point you can get into Dept I.D. to shut the I.D. modes.

Note that the System Settings password asks for 4 digits, but the master password is 7 digits. You need to type all 7 digits in sequence, then hit 'OK' for the procedure to work.

Forgot to mention I did try the PWD-CLR to no avail. I'll try the other suggestions tomorrow when I return to customers site. Thanks for the help.
