    ir c3480 color reg off

I have went under svc mode 2 and clr reg under function , then I ran the full gradiation adjustment but when I run a test 10 there is still a separation from the black and yellow. I know on my 5180s that the ITB is usually the problem. I did swap the ITB with one from a working machine and I received the same reg problem. A canon tech said something about an adjustment for mismatched colors but he wasn't sure if the 3480 had it, and I'm not a the shop to look in the manual.

Removing the noise dampening pad for the Registration sensor flag and then performing Reg-Clear, Quick Adjust and then adjusting the IMG-REG sometimes resolves it .

Cleaning the patch sensors and performing an auto color correction mismatch should resolved the issue.

To perform an auto color correction mismatch, Enter Additional Functions Adjustments and Cleaning. On page three select auto color mismatch correction.
If Auto color correction mismatch is not an option, be sure to update the firmware to the latest version. To clean the patch sensors manually actuate the solenoid to open the shutters and wipe the sensors with a dry lint free cloth.

Below is a photo of the solenoid and shutters that cover the sensors.

I have a customer that doesn't use color a lot. I had to replace ITB and color drums at the same time. There is a tech pub about that.
