After cleaning the itb registration and fixing the 3d effect colors the next day the customer called in with fading black. After stopping the copier and looking on the itb while doing reg adjusted the yellow magenta cyan arrows and bar are apparent but no black at all. no black in test 10 or 6.

No Black Development, When running Copies or Test Prints

FIRST> before replacing anything >
inspect the Developing Drive Assembly, look & see if a broken gear is found on the Black Developer Sleeve Drive Clutch CL4.

Black Developer Sleeve Drive Clutch is FM2-3581-000.

If gear is OK
Try Replacing one at a time
the Primary HVT,
Transfer HVT, Drum,
or try
clearing MMI, DC-CON, or MN-CON

NOTE:
Do not CLEAR anything without having printed out a P PRINT & USER Print to have the settings to put back into printer
